Chakras as the Mirror of my Inner Wisdom

Most of us are always in a place of wonder of where are we going; constantly redefining our goals. We question ourselves: why aren’t we coming to this life with a manual or instructions that can tell us what is right what is wrong? what should we do? where should we go? As much as we look around, we might find many answers, but not something that can completely fulfill our wonder of what is the mission for us in this life. If you have been questioning yourself about this, let me tell you that answers can be discovered in the wisdom of the chakra system; a whole system that resides within each one of us.

As I had mentioned in previous articles (like in The Universe that is in Me), chakras are located in our bodies along the spine from our feet all the way to our heads, and above. If you were to put them as mirrors in your life, you could find that each one of them will relate to something that you have been working with or that needs your attention.

Here is a brief understanding of how the chakras function as mirrors in our lives:

-From the lower chakra Muladhara with the wisdom of safety, trust, and protection, we can observe if our bodies have been stuck or with pain.

That will be the first sign of our body telling us that it needs our attention to be worked out (physically) and worked in (mentally) or maybe both ways together until you can ground our roots, and heal or released our trust. You can learn read more about it in my article The Process of Being Rooted.

-Moving up to the second chakra located in the lower abdomen is Svadisthana that has the potential to create, nurture, flow like water and even to destroy. This chakra is going to be evident when we’re having physical pain or tension in your lower abdomen and lower back or having a hard time being creative. Here, we can bring balance through movement or stretching space in our hips to bring flexibility to new ideas or to create new things; giving birth to the new. Please learn more about it in my article Movement and Flow for Creativity.

-Then comes Manipura, the chakra that holds our self-confidence and the power of our own universe. It’s the strength that move us to feel powerful in any decision that we make with love in life. If we’re struggling with this chakra, we might feel weak, have a hard time expressing our decisions, or letting others to decide for us. And option to solve this chakra is to repeat affirmations about how strong we are and by working our abdomen area. We can also find our strength by setting boundaries and find what is best for us. Theres is more info about this chakra in my article Fire Burns and Breakthrough to Let go and Bring Life.

-The most lovable chakra will be Anahata, the chakra of the love wisdom. This energy center is able to express love to ourselves, receive love, and give love to others. When this chakra isn’t working completely well, it’s hard for us to express and receive love with humility and compassion. To move in a healthy heart chakra, we need to physically open up our chest area, take care of our posture, and set limits. We can open our hearts for new things to come and express it widely and brightly. Also you can read more about it in my article One Breath at a Time.

-We move up to the throat chakra, the one that can speak and listen without judgment or expectations. When this chakra is no moving easily, it’s hard to speak up. Or if it’s too open, we’ll speak more than we should, have issues listening, and have a hard time opening for new ideas. To heal this chakra we should always speak our truth; like using the four doors of communication that you can find in my article I Speak my Truth with Love.

-Moving up, it’s the third eye chakra related to the imagination, knowledge, and intuition. When this chakra is not working appropriately, it’s hard to see physically and/or emotionally. We can even struggle concentrating or remembering. To make this chakra flow correctly, we need to open our minds, open our sight to receive new information, and express the beautiful intuition that we can receive. You can learn read more about it in my article I learn to Trust the Unknown.

-And the last chakra will be Sahasrara, the wisdom of all chakras. It’s able to receive answers ideas, love, and everything that we ask to the universe. To keep this chakra flowing we could practice meditation to find answers or wisdom and the support that we need to understand our life journey and/or read more in my article The Marvelous Silence.

As you can see chakras can tell us, as a dictionary or as a mirror, the meaning of what is happening inside us and why things happen outside of us. When we work them out, beautiful things can happen; for example, we can heal, easily express ourselves, open our minds or hearts, and set boundaries for whatever our goals are or what we’re looking for.

I invite you to practice meditation or maybe go back into this article, set an intention, and while you are reading back each chakra, think about how that intention can be opened or healed with their help. This is just a very brief idea for you to analyze about chakras, but there’s big wisdom behind that you can discover. I suggest you to keep searching and learning more about your physical and energetic body through meditation and the chakras.
