How to Help our Kids to be Centered and Balanced

Kids come to the world with wide opportunities to grow, learn, explore and create. Their imagination is so wide and brilliant that they can not even understand what limits are. The only understandable concepts that they have when very young are having fun and I feel a bunch of different things; feelings or emotions.

As parents, we feel the commitment to teach that kid how to live. We believe that if we explain to the children about their feelings, like tiredness or angriness, we are highly helping the kid. We start from the child's very young age to introduce them to a huge amount of concepts, like about natural life or academics. Some parents might get frustrated to see that the kid is not grasping many concepts. For example just like if they are hungry causes moodiness. And we believe that either us or the kid has something wrong.

Let’s be real, a kid has all the information he needs already within. We are all stressed out when there is no need. During the many kid stages, he or she will start exploring more and more; learning by him or herself. And if they have questions or if they need information, they will request it by their own singular ways. They are magnificent. They know how to survive… they already know they have you if needed. There is no need to make them believe that without you they can't move on.

And you might wonder, so!! where should the parents be in their lives? Well, I truly believe that the parents are huge sharers of love and guidance. As parents, we need to stand back from our children’s lives and just be there present at all times when needed. We should accompany them in their journeys, always able to provide kind words, kisses, hugs and understanding with respect. This is what helps the kids to live present in the moment, centered in their own journeys, and balanced because they can really feel their parent’s support and guidance. Over the time, we will see that this basic point will make us their companions and even their friends in who they can lean when needed.

As parents of this time in life, we have a huge commitment to be the best parents that our children need. They deserve to live freely in love, kindness and respect at all times.

It shouldn’t be hard to love our kids in the way they are. Let’s keep supporting them!

The light in me, recognizes the light in you,
