Reconnecting with Nature during Spring

Darker and hibernating days are over. The sun is back out again but this time is shining in a new season; spring. It’s a new beginning, the air is turning warmer, the clouds are getting dispersed, the birds are setting up their nests, and all creatures are rejoicing getting ready for new lives.

For us as humans it’s our time to reconnect with nature again by hiking, getting closer to beaches and rivers, or walking around the neighborhood to admire the new leaves and flowers. When we simply observe the process of nature, we’re able to reconnect with it, but also allows our inner systems to reawaken those sleepy areas in our lives that took a break during fall or winter time.

If you continue the process of a seed or a flower bulb, in time you can observe how little by little a tiny stem will use its strength to break through dirt to find the sun. Then that sun will be the magnet for growth. The leaves are going to start stretching and pretty soon flowers are going to bloom amazing and beautiful. They will glow with their own light in different shades of color and different sizes. They will give shelter to different creatures and will rejoice bees or birds.

Now it's our time to reconnect with the processes that nature guides us. I invite you to go out, to open your arms and receive this new energy that is all around us; teaching us that everyday we can start again in hope, love and abundance. Break the limits like the stem did with the ground. Stretch your arms to reach into what your heart really wants. Receive the warmth of the sun that is lighting your path. Relax into the awareness in the present moment that is able to provide you with all that you need. And let nature do the work in you. Bloom your inner strength in the love that shines within you.

The light in me, recognizes the light in you,
